Playbook Media is hiring a Client Partner to join our team.

We’re looking for a strategic operator with deep experience in performance marketing, growth strategy, and modern AI-assisted workflows. In this role, you’ll own a portfolio of high-value client accounts, bring a confident point of view on growth, and leverage tools like Claude to synthesize data, build client-ready deliverables, and automate repetitive work. Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of strategic client accounts end-to-end, from onboarding through retention and growth.
  • Apply Playbook Media’s proven frameworks and best practices to manage and deepen client partnerships.
  • Lead client communication through regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings with clear, confident strategic direction.
  • Develop and execute roadmaps, testing plans, and performance reviews on weekly, monthly, and quarterly cycles.
  • Drive client growth through data-backed recommendations, proactive insights, and a strong marketing point of view.
  • Bring knowledge of SEO and AEO strategies to advise clients on organic and AI-driven search visibility.
  • Use Claude and other AI tools to synthesize performance data, build client presentations, draft follow-ups, and automate repetitive workflows.
  • Collaborate with internal creative, media, and analytics teams to maximize results and serve as the client’s internal advocate.
  • Share learnings across accounts to raise the strategic bar for the full client partner team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a client-facing marketing or agency role, with a track record of owning strategic accounts independently.
  • Strong command of growth marketing fundamentals: paid media, conversion optimization, attribution, and full-funnel performance strategy.
  • Working knowledge of SEO and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), including how AI-driven search is reshaping content and discoverability strategy.
  • Hands-on experience using Claude (or similar LLMs) to synthesize data, generate client deliverables, and streamline repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and turn performance challenges into clear, confident recommendations.
  • Skilled at presenting insights through polished, persuasive slide decks and data analyses.
  • Sharp judgment, high ownership, and comfort managing multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience marketing insurance, fintech, or broader financial services products for high-growth brands is a strong plus.
  • Direct experience managing paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with performance analytics tools and attribution methodologies (MMM, MTA, incrementality testing).
  • Experience building or refining AI-assisted workflows for client reporting, meeting prep, or content generation.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets and translate them into executive-level strategy.
  • Advanced degree in business or marketing (MBA, Master’s in Marketing, or similar) is a plus, not a requirement.
